Take Action: Honor Washington’s Fallen Fire Fighters

The Washington State Fire Fighters' Association is helping create a Fallen Firefighter Memorial on the Capitol Campus in Olympia through a Fire Service Memorial Special License Plate. We need signatures to document interest in purchasing at least 3,500 plates to move forward—signing shows your support at no cost and helps honor firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice.

The Washington State Fire Fighters' Association is proud to partner with fellow fire service organizations across our state to establish a Fallen Firefighter Memorial on the Capitol Campus in Olympia. While the State of Washington has provided partial funding, additional resources are needed to complete construction and maintenance.

To support this effort, we are advancing the Fire Service Memorial Special License Plate, created to honor fire service members who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. This plate recognizes their service, dedication, and commitment to the communities they served.

Funds raised through the license plate will help build and maintain the permanent memorial and support the Fallen Firefighters Memorial Foundation, which assists fallen firefighters and their families. To move forward, we must collect 3,500 signatures showing intent to purchase the plate. Signing the petition reflects your support only—no payment or obligation required.
