It is with heavy hearts that the Washington State Fire Fighters’ Association announces the passing of Past President Fred Allinson on Wednesday, September 24th.

Fred dedicated nearly four decades of service to the fire service locally, state-wide, and nationally-serving as Battalion Chief for King County Fire District 2 and North Highline Fire District, 17 years as WSFFA Conference Supervisor, and Chairman of the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC). His tireless advocacy secured vital funding, equipment, and training for generations of firefighters.
