History

The WSFFA has been in existence since 1923 and is the oldest statewide fire service organization. Its mission is to represent the interests of the volunteer firefighters throughout the state of Washington. The membership includes more than 400 fire departments and districts, representing more than 16,000 volunteer firefighters in Washington.
